Today, a person’s identity is scattered across email providers, social networks, government portals, employers, devices, domain registrars, cloud drives, password managers, family spreadsheets, and half-remembered recovery flows. Each service sees a fragment. No service helps the person understand the whole lifecycle.
Organizations have the same problem at a different scale. Ownership, employee access, contractors, API keys, brand identities, certificates, documents, public claims, and offboarding live in different systems. When someone leaves—or cannot act—the real ownership model is often discovered too late.
DUIID’s job is not to create one giant profile. It is to create a control layer: connected enough to understand, separated enough to protect, and portable enough to remain yours.
